Azolimnos beach is the nearest beach from Hermoupolis, as its distance from Syros’ capital is 5 km. It has blue water, blond sand, umbrellas, changing rooms and sunbeds. It is accredited with a Blue Flag.
Azolimno’s beach has three piers, which are ideal for diving by swimmers at any age. On the outskirts of the beach, there are cafes and restaurants. The general area has a large variety of accommodation.
Access is easy by bus (frequent routes), by taxis and by private cars or motorcycles. The beach also offers two parking spaces for disabled people, one chemical toiler available for disabled ones and a ramp with suitable paths that lead people in a wheelchair on the beach.
